Carta de Voo is a work that represents a flight, but not the real flight of an airplane, although it hints an airplane, but a flight of the mind, imagination and spirit.

There's a core element in the photos of this series, which is a rustic light pole, but this pole is never interpreted as a pole only, a mental exercise is required in order to see it as something else. This way acquires an imaginary meaning that transfigures it, sometimes in an airplane that takes off and soars, others in something more subtle, a spiritual temple, that is beyond the purely physical world. Then the last photo is not the pole anymore, it's already another landscape, in the dark, something else, it's the destination the flight reaches.

Besides there's a double meaning in the title, cause in one hand Carta de Voo is the reference chart the pilot has for a specific flight, containing important information about the route and landing, in the other hand I also used the meaning of a written letter, narrating the adventure of a flight. The booklet for the first exhibition of this work, with 500 copies, got the cover simulating an envelope, so if the cover is an envelope, the content is the letter itself.

Carta de Voo é um trabalho que representa um voo, mas não é um voo real de avião, embora ele faça alusão ao avião, e sim um voo da mente, da imaginação e do espírito. 

Existe um elemento central nas fotos da série, que é um poste de luz rústico, porém esse poste nunca é interpretado como um poste apenas, é necessário um exercício mental para enxerga-lo como outra coisa. Assim ele ganha um sentido imaginário que o transfigura, algumas vezes em um avião que alça voo e paira no céu, outras vezes em algo mais sutil, um templo espiritual, que está além do mundo puramente físico conhecido. Já a última foto não é mais o poste, já é outra paisagem, noturna, algo distinto, é o destino que o voo alcança.

Além disso existe um duplo sentido no título, pois se por um lado carta de voo é a referência que o piloto de avião tem pra voar, com informações importantes sobre a rota e o pouso, por outro eu também usei o sentido de uma carta escrita, que conta a aventura de um voo. O catálgo/livreto da primeira exposição desse trabalho, que teve tiragem de 500 exemplares, tem a capa simulando um envelope, ou seja, se a capa é o envelope, o conteúdo é a carta em si.
