🇺🇸 My task is to shoot the best surf photos I can, and then to digititally process them, adding effects that will make them artistic. These effects are intended to add to the image expression, the enhance what the image communicates. I've got to use them carefully cause otherwise they can diminish the power of the image instead.

I can say there exists a personal  tendency, when shooting sports, to add crative and/or alternative elements, etc, in order to escape the obvious sports images, which seem boring to me. I want something more in terms of creative possibilities out of sports photography, I want to be a photographer-artist (not only a photographer) shooting sports.

🇧🇷 Minha tarefa é produzir as melhores fotos possíveis, e posteriormente processa-las digitalmente, adicionando efeitos que as tornem artísticas. Esses efeitos pretendem somar à expressividade das fotos, aumentando o que a imagem comunica. Devo usa-los com cuidado, pois do contrário podem diminuir o poder das imagens. 

Posso dizer que existe uma tendência pessoal, quando fotografo esportes, de adicionar elementos criativos, e/ou alternativos, etc, para escapar do tipo óbvio de fotografia de esportes, que me parece monótono. Eu quero algo a mais em termos de possibilidades criativas na fotografia de esportes, quero ser um fotógrafo-artista (não apenas um fotógrafo) nos esportes.
